Prior to starting my firm, I was Vice President of Management Effectiveness at Fidelity Investments, supporting executives and their teams, and coaching Fidelity’s leaders.
Here’s what I have learned: every leader and leadership team has challenges and opportunities for development. Each team must set its own unique course towards being more effective and growing together. Each leader plays an important role in this growth.
Addressing those challenges head-on takes courage and skill. Supporting leaders and teams by teaching them new skills and by helping them to hone their strengths is my work and my passion.
An effective toolbox
Even in very strong organizations, I saw challenges arise that I felt I needed to be addressed with better tools. After leaving Fidelity, I spent several years studying best practices for teams and learning how leaders could best apply them. I developed a suite of tools designed specifically to meet the unmet needs of leaders, especially those on senior leadership teams in successful, large companies.
I have – along with trusted colleagues – been successfully using these tools in my work for the last several years. We have succeeded in helping leaders resolve conflicts, build trust and create the alignment that leads to better working relationships, better decisions and better results.
Track record of running organizations and leading change
While at Fidelity, I played a significant leadership role on a multi-year transformation of the company-wide HR function to align the department’s work more closely with the organization’s results. The department became less transactional and more strategic.
Prior to Fidelity, I was a District Manager for a Manpower Temporary Services, an international employment firm, with P&L responsibility for four offices.
